Hey guys what’s up Henry with Six Pack Shortcuts here today to hit you guys with a re-vamped version of an older segment we did called the “Top 7 Muscle Gaining Exercises” – I wanted to not only share with you guys the top 7 exercises but also hit you with a quick circuit that includes some of these movements so that you can start building more muscle TODAY.

It’s important that you know how to do all of these exercises because they pack muscle onto your body faster than anything else you could do in the gym. So to recap from the former video, the 7 best muscle building exercises are:

1.Bench press
2.Bent over rows
3.Dead-lift
4.Military press
5.Straight bar curls / Triceps extension
6.Shrugs
7.Squats

The reason WHY these are the best movements is because of one simple thing: They are all multi-joint movements.

Multi-joint movements require MORE overall muscle stimulation meaning that you are triggering double or even triple the anabolic response doing these movements when compared to a standard isolation exercise.

So to put these movements to the test, I am going to show you guys this killer full body muscle-making circuit consisting of 3 movements that I mentioned above:

Standing military press (with a barbell)
Bent over rows (with a barbell)
Shrugs (with a barbell)

We are going to complete 3 rounds of 10 reps for each movement using the same barbell all the way through.

Workout Breakdown:

1:42 – Round 1: standing military press, 10 reps

2:30 – bent over rows, 10 reps

3:10 – barbell shrugs, 10 reps

3:53 – Round 2

5:28 – Round 3

6:56 – To make this workout more challenging, reduce your rest breaks or add circuits. Try to hit this routine 5 or 6 times instead of 3 next time!
