0:30 – Protein contains Nitrogen. Nitrogen is only present in protein when you ingest it, therefore it’s easy to measure and see whether or not you are taking in enough or more than your body needs.

1:58 – Let’s look at the science: You’ve been told you should be taking in 1 gram of protein per pound of bodyweight – that may be too much.
