Psoriasis
Psoriasis is a chronic non-contagious hereditary skin condition. In this condition the skin cells grow faster than normal & deposit themselves on outermost layer of the skin. This abnormal behavior leads to presence of red scaly patches on the skin.

• Abnormal cell growth
• Red scaly patches on skin

Causes:
• Autoimmune disease
• Hereditary conditions

Recipes based on the above food groups:
Recipe 1: Fruits & vegetable soup:
1. Dice 100 gm of chopped carrots
2. Boil 12 cups of water in a deep sauce pan
3. Add ½ cup diced pumpkin to it and cook for about 15 min
4. Drain the cooked pumpkin and keep aside
5. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a saucepan
6. Add 1 chopped onion and 2 chopped garlic cloves to it
7. Cook until the onion turns translucent
8. Now add 2 cups of water to the pan
9. Add carrot and cooked pumpkin in it
10. Also add 1 tsp finely chopped ginger
11. Bring it to a boil, and cook for about 20 minutes, or until
carrots are tender
12. Put this in a blender and make puree (add water if needed)
13. Pour it in a bowl and add 100 ml orange juice
14. Add some salt and pepper to taste
15. Stir well and serve hot
Recipe 2: Greek style fish
1. Take 150 gm of tuna fillets
2. Sprinkle salt, pepper and 1 tsp lemon juice on them
3. Refrigerate these fillets for 20 min
4. Then, heat 1 tsp oil in a vessel
5. Add 1 crushed clove of garlic in it
6. Add ½ sliced onions as well
7. Now, saute the onions till they turn light brown
8. Then, add 1 small chopped tomato along with 2 tsp tomato
puree
9. Stir and heat this for about 3 min
10. Now, add ¼ cup of water
11. Also add 1 tsp chopped parsley
12. Next, add a pinch of sugar, paprika, salt and pepper each
13. Cook this mixture for 10-15 minutes till the sauce is fragrant
and cooked
14. Now on a fry pan put about 1 tsp oil & place the fish on
15. Cook on both the sides for 5 min each on low flame
13. Once done, pour the prepared tomato sauce on the fish
14. Now sprinkle 1 tbsp chopped parsley on it
15. Let it cook for 2-3 min
17. Remove and serve

• Avoid excessive, sugary or , fried, packaged and processed
foods as they can aggravate the inflammation
• Make sure to stay away from coffee and tea
