» Breakfast Sandwiches
• 1/2 can white beans (rinsed & drained)
• 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
• 2 tsp turmeric
• sprinkle of himalayan salt
» Sweet & Sour Cauliflower
the sauce:
• 2 tbsp ketchup
• 2 tbsp rice vinegar (I have used apple cider vinegar and it works just as well!!)
• 1 tsp soy sauce
• 3 tbsp maple syrup — other liquid sweeteners would probably work!
• 1/3 cup water
• 1 tsp cornstarch (or more if needed for thickening)
» Tomato Spinach Pasta
the sauce:
• 1/2 cup cashews
• 1/3 cup water
• 1 garlic clove
• 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
• 1 tsp tomato paste
• 1 tsp dried basil
• 1 tsp dried oregano
• salt & pepper

A: No. Although I eat a vegan diet, not all products I use on a day to day basis are vegan. Therefore, semantically correct, I am plant-based.
